Editorial Cartoons

For NZZ Folio magazine, I summarize each issue’s main theme in three cartoons on the final page. The process is straightforward: they send me the topics covered in the issue, and I brainstorm ideas and look for a funny angle on each one. I then submit 10–15 ideas, from which they select three. I develop the chosen ideas into final drawings, refining the details and sharpening the contrasts to make each cartoon work.
